#askexpert hi my daughter is 8 month old and today morning when she woke up her head, feet as well as her palm was hot! but her body was not that hot! is this fever?? I took head temperature and it was 100.3 degree. please suggest

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. it is advisable to take the temperature in the armpit of the child and if it is 100 or more than only consider it as we were and give paracetamol and if it is continuing for more than 2 days then meet your doctor

the temperature 100f or above is considered as fever in babies.
so please visit your pediatrician for once.
dress your child in loose fitting Cotton clothes.
keep your child in well vantileted room.
feed your child on demand,it contains antibodies which help your child to fight against viral or bacterial infection.
maintain good hygiene
