#askexpert Hello Doc My son has stopped eating the solid food since last 7-8 days he had normal diet earlier. He is on bottle feed …he had little cold for 2-3 days which is recovered but he lost the apetite completely not even asking for milk too. What should I do

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. it is very common that during the disease process the child will have loss of appetite as well as after the disease the child will have decreased appetite for food and this will last for at least one week.
you have to provide plenty of water to drxink and you can give food rich in fluids as well as juice extracted from fruits which will help in improving the appetite.
if if the child is having nutritional deficiency the doctor will add multivixtamin supplements to increase the appetite.
