consistency of food should be like that of Ghee
you can begin with food like homemade cerelac, cereal pulse, porridge, kheer, cooked seasonal vegetable puree or add to food like khichdi, vegetable Dal rice.
seasonal fruits, curd, paneer.
add Ghee to every meal and squeeze lemon wherever possible
give top food two to three times a day and beginning with few teaspoon then up to half katori every time
continue to breastfeed baby.

As the baby is 6 months old start with liquid first and as the baby adopts the change n able to digest then move towards semi solids and then solids
Start with thin daal, rice kanji, vegetables soup, steamed and pureeed fruits, thin Upma, coconut water
Do not add salt and sugar but u can add little ghee
Start with 3-4 tsp twice a day and then slowly increase quantity and frequency
Always go for 4 days rule that is give any food for 4 days ans then start with new food to rule out allergies
Water should be given but it must be boiled and cooled
No milk except breast milk or formula
