sir ,as a child is of 1 + age and still licking his or her fingers ,he or she might doing it because of stress or anxiety or nutritional deficiencies or teething .
so please check for this
try to distract your child by giving toys or activities.
Whenever you notice it , gently remove your child hand from mouth and say 'No' firmly.
