Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. the weight and growth of the child depends upon the diet as well as genetic patterns the child is following. if the child is not falling ill and is play full then there is no need to worry about the the weight pattern and growth pattern of the child but yes it is very important to rule out nutritional deficiency in the child

Hi If the child is not gaining weight due to any of the reason so first you need to find a reason out is it due to some deficiency in the body or your child’s appetite is low and your child is not eating well these things are very common with kids so in this case 1st to consult a paediatrician for a check up and go ahead with their suggestion
