#askdoctors My baby is 4 months old and his weight is 4 KG. what should I do to gain the weight of my baby.

A. child should double it's birth weight by completion of six months and triples by one year. give only breastmilk till completion of six months for healthy growth and weight gain in babies

A. Initial Six months you are only supposed to give mothers feed to the child so basically whatever wait your child will gain with me will be with the feed that you are giving to the child so continue breastfeeding and if your child is not gaining proper weight accordingly then consult your doctor and start giving formula feeding
