#askdoctors my baby is 3 months old his weight is 6 kgs. is it healthy weight?

A. child should double it's birth weight by completion of six months and triples by one year. breastmilk is always sufficient till completion of six months and helps in healthy growth and weight gain

A. Hi, usually the baby will get double the birth weight by six months. So you can calculate accordingly to your baby’s birth weight. It seems little more. Make sure to breastfeed once in every two hours and burp your baby well after every feed.
