#askdoctors My baby is 11.5 months old and 8.5 kg. I feel like he is not gaining good weight but his peadtrician said that it is fine if he is active. please let me know if this weight is ok for this age. his birth weight was 3.34 kg.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. the weight of the child is in within normal range but yes at the lower border but it is important that you have to understand if the child is play ful do not worry about the weight of the child

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy4 years agoA. hello baby as tripled its birth weight which is a good weight gain and is absolutely nothing to worry about and just make sure to give your child HEALTHY AND NUTRITIOUS food in the diet and this will help in the growth of your child also
