A. Start giving whole cow's milk or milk products like ghee in small amounts, curd, butter, cheese and home made paneer. Give fruit milkshakes and fruit smoothies and add dry fruits powder to them. Give peanut butter. Give plain nuts to eat like walnuts, cashew nuts, peanuts, almonds and raisins. Give lentils like moong Dal and urad Dal. Give one boiled egg per day. Give bananas, avocados, pears, papaya, apples and mangoes. Give cheesy potatoes and sweet potatoes. Give chickpeas and green peas. Give ragi and brown rice. All these help in weight gain.
