#askdoctors my 2 year old daughter suffers from constipation since 2 months...she is her medical course. if i stop giving one dose ...she gets constipation...if i give medicine, she does twice a day....is it normal

A. yes now so for this issue if . constipation or hard stools is common in babies . Change diet habits . Avoid junk food . Give fibre rich diet like green leafy vegetables, palak , cauliflower etc . And fruits like papaya apple etc . Give plenty of water and other fluids also . Can give laxatives post 2 years age only under a pediatrician guidance .
