#askdoctors hello doctor. Iam mother of aarohi(20months old). what are the nutritional requirements of a soon to be 2year old. my child is very fuzzy eater. she likes to eat DAL AND RICE. every single day. how to keep her taste varied. pla do help me.

A. hi as it is growing phase of your child,it is good to offer variety of food items from different food groups like vegetables, fruit, nuts, pulses, beans, dairy products etc. so offer different dishes with different taste and different texture. make food presentation attractive for example offer fruits in different shapes like star heart smiles etc using shape cutter it will help to encourage your child to take interest in food. try to make your child sit to take meal with whole family because children learn more from imitating their parents. but please don't force feed or overfeed your child.
