#askdoctors can I get vaccinated as my baby is still breastfeeding and I'm in a dilemma to get the jab or not.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. yes you can go for the vaccination and this would be beneficial for the child also
definitely you can go for vaccination because as per recent recommendations on 19th of May Government of India has also started recommending vaccinations for lactating mothers so yes you can go for it
and you can start giving breastfeeding immediately after the vaccination also
