#askdoctor dear sir/mam i had gasetational diabetes in 9month,aftr delivery it came to normal but aftr 3months i hd urinal infection so went to doctr thy tested diabetes it was high so now m on medication nd taking insulin,my son is 3 months 9days old m feeding him frm since 2days he s dng urine more so m asking is it normal r my baby also got affected as m feeding him??

Jasmine KaurMom of a 9 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent, although breast feed cannot really harm the child. But since you are diabetes during pregnancy , so should consult with your paediatric in person ask for diabetes test or the baby is it is required or not..
