#askdoctor 1. Hi doctor, my baby is 1 month old and because there's no enough milk from mother, we are planning to give cow milk once or twice. is it recommended to give cow milk and if not what is alternative please share your response??

A. not recommended..! it is best not to give your baby cow, buffalo , goat milk or any kind of milk until they are at least one year old breastmilk or formula is the best thing for your baby.

A. Hello dear parent! Ideally the baby should be either exclusively breastfed or formula fed only for the first 6 months. Outside milk like animal milk should be given only after one year completion. If you are still concerned better consult your doctor for further advice. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug daily massage oil. Good luck and take care.
