#Ask the experts My baby was born preterm at 35 weeks, due to insufficient breast milk, he is formula fed, now for the past 2 weeks he is refusing to take formula feed, he is interested only in taking pumped breast milk or direct breast feeding, I'm not having sufficient breast milk secretion. sir please guide what to do or what formula can be given

A. Hello it’s completely fine to have a child on formula feeding it’s as good as breastfeeding and have sufficient breastfeeding which is when it is introduced and a lot of pre-term kids do not get sufficient milk from their mothers who is completely fine to go ahead with this one and if you want to switch to regular milk from pre-stage or normal stage one then you can go ahead with it after two or three months
