limit sugars
give only if its needed for the food items
avoid extra sugar sources like chocolates
juices
cold drinks
candies
biscuits
give fresh fruits
but not juices

I don’t know if there is a minimum quantity or a maximum quantity as such, but then do not give too many sugary fooda even if it is Home. Gradually introduced all food groups in your child’s daily diet that is healthy and common in your family.
