Q.

#ask the expert# my son is 2 months and 3 days old. but his umbilical cord is not getting dry. Dr has given neosporin powder that I am using it but it's not getting dry. I am attaching his umbilical cord picture plz suggest me is this normal or something else

A. Hello ma’am It seems like some issue is there in that area because normally it dries up really fast on its own only so if the medicine that your doctor has given you is not helping then it would be better to take a second opinion on to the same from some other doctor for a better knowledge about it. But this is definitely not normal that is definitely some issue over there
