#ask the expert My son 4.6yr old had viral induced wheeze and had cough for almost a month.Now his cough has reduced so does that mean his chest is clear. Should we check with doctor to confirm his chest is clear even after cough completely stops?

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician3 years agoA. hi your baby is 4.5 years old now wheeze is a type of allergic reaction to various exposure lien smoke dust or viral infection and it's symptoms are cough and difficulty to breathe and poor sleep and decreased appetite alongwith fever but if no abnormal symptoms then baby has recovered.
