#ask the expert . my 9 months old baby is getting hiccups 6-7 times in a single day . and it's not stopping even after giving water. is it normal or can we do something to stop it . he is getting tears bcoz of hiccups. plz suggest

Hiccups often start when someone does two things together, like laughing when eating or drinking.Babies do not get upset from hiccups, so you do not need to try and stop a baby's hiccups, but if you want to try, give your baby something to drink a breast feed, or some water to drink
