A. Dear parent, weight of 4.9 kg is a normal weight for 3 months old baby, do not worry. Baby should gain at least 500 grams per month and should double the birth weight by 6 months. For healthy weight gain, exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete. At one episode of breast feeding feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.
