#Ask the expert Hello doctor, recently I have eye infection doctor prescribed zoxan eye ointment (ciprofloxacin 0.3%w/w) and Lubrex eye drops(carboxy methyl cellulose 0.5%w/v).i forgot to tell him i am breastfeeding mother and i have 3 months old baby. is it safe to use?the chemical in eye ointment and eye drops mix in blood and pass through breast milk to baby?please tell me

A. good afternoon you can comfortably used to prescribed ointment it will not pass on to the child you don't have to worry about that
