#ask expert hi, my baby heamoglobin is 8.9 and her age is 13 months.is it low?

A. Hai good evening !! Yes haemoglobin level is less than the normal range. Around 13-14 points is average range suggested. Include iron rich foods , adequate water in diet. Dates syrup, powder with milk or in porridge/kheer, raisins, Leafy vegetables (amaranth, spinach,kale), carrot, beetroot as Mashed or sabji or grated , sweet potato mashed,egg, jaggery,pea nut butter,meat granules in soups. Consult Paeditrician doctor will prescribe you iron supplements (syrup).
