Q.

As a breast feeding mother what kind of food should I take ? which food I have to avoid to prevent colic or gas in my New born baby boy ?

A. Take high protein contain food like- Milk and ghee and, grains, oatmeals, cereals, pulses, dry fruit, fresh fruits,papaya, vegetables, like methi, carrot, garlic, Bottle Gourds, beetroot, spinach. Whole Grains Sprouts, spices like Cumin Seeds, Poppy Seeds and Fennel Seed, Fenugreek Seeds. And lots of fluids . Avoid taking seafood, Spicy food and flatulence causing food can cause a shift in your baby’s reaction,coffee,meet and non veg, Beans Cabbage Dairy products Onions , citrus fruits.

A. Hello mom While being a lactating mother you just have to avoid taking spicy and fried food rather than this you can add anything in your regular diet plan. Baby should be totally on mother’s milk and there is no need to give anything else to your baby till your baby turned six months old
