Are sippers bottles good for baby feeding? which sipper is good , plastic or steel sipper?

Mam actually we visited oue nearby dr for our baby regular checkup so he recommended that stop using bottle immediately because bottle feeding can cause throat infections,intestine infections and on..My baby is 2 yr old and she loves to feed tgrough bottle so what should i do?
