Mom of a 6 yr 10 m old boy2 years ago
Q.

Actually my son started bluish palm near base of thumb > sole near heel since 6 days . We went to local children hospital malad in weekend at odd hours. They tried to rule out cardiac illness.. But nothing significant was caught except low hb, MCV, mch, high RBC high rdw. Bluish tinge is present since then which increases to ink blue. We just wanted to take second opinion if not missing out on anything. there is small firm nodule around in palm below the thumb area. there is bilateral presentation of the issue. pls suggest should we worry.. try to follow with senior paediatric or any other Dr.

A. medical examination will be required whenever there is confusion regarding the treatment given by your doctor and if you are not satisfied with the answers you can always take a second opinion of another doctor of the same field. weather a particular investigation or treatment is proper or not can be confirmed only after taking relevant history and doing proper examination of the child which will be done by the second doctor.
