Q.

9 months old baby fell from crib around 3.5 feet height and hit his Lower back of head .and cried a lot with tears after sometime he stopped n normal now playing n all ok..I'm worried a lot .should need to to head check up.pleas help.

A. Hello, your baby boy is 9.5 from cradle so don’t worry just keep watch on him for next 24 hours and give him pain killers if swelling is there so

A. Any Fall injury specially head injury needs to be assessed properly . In any such case certain symptoms needs to be checked like loss of consciousness reccurrent vomiting or any abnormal moment or convulsions . Such case needs immediate medical intervention as there could be some internal injury . Otherwise application of ice locally to reduce the swelling and pain can be done along with some analgesic like paracetamol. fr Recurrent fall injury for a child should be avoided as it can lead to some chronic manifestations occasionally . Also teeth injury should be rule out in any such case which is commonly associated and can be easily missed out most of the time .
