Q.

9 mnths daughter suffering with fever from today motning need suggestion on how much quantity of paracetmol 250 to be given and how many times a day. please suggest anybody. Thanks.

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if requireftd in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations. cold sponging of the whole bgody with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .

A. You can give one ML to your child and you can repeat the medicine after every six hours if the temperature goes up or it is not reducing down if it is more than 101°F then I will suggest you at the same time to go ahead with doing Kole sponging as well on the entire body to reduce down the temperatureWrite Your Answer Here
