If there are blisters, peeling skin, swelling, the burn is large, on the face/hands/genitals, or the baby is crying excessively or develops fever, seek immediate medical attention. In infants, even small burns should ideally be examined by a pediatrician to ensure proper treatment and prevent infection. Avoid self-medication and consult your child’s doctor for the safest care.
