White spots or bumps on a 7-month-old baby’s face could be due to milia (tiny white bumps), dry skin, or fungal infection like pityriasis alba or yeast rash. These are usually not painful but if your baby is experiencing facial pain, it’s best to monitor closely.
You can gently clean the face with lukewarm water and apply a mild, fragrance-free baby moisturizer like Cetaphil Baby Lotion or Sebamed Baby Cream. Avoid applying adult creams or home remedies. If the white bumps are increasing, painful, or spreading, or if your baby seems uncomfortable, consult a pediatrician or dermatologist to rule out infection or eczema. Avoid scrubbing or squeezing the bumps. Keep the baby’s face clean and dry.
