Q.

7 days baby affected with jaundice, currently her bilirubin count is 16 and she is in special care unit with light therapy . concern is when can we take her home, what would be the ideal count of bilirubin for discharge ?

A. 16 is very high levels of BiliRubin and you have to wait until the lev lefall down to less than 11 at least. Until then keep her under the doctor’s careWrite Your Answer Here
