Varalakshmi veena HeemaMom of 2 children4 days agoA. Hello dear, it's totally normal! Don't worry at all. My baby also started same way - only 3-4 spoons at 6 months. Baby's tummy is very tiny and they are still learning to swallow solids.
Continue offering same food every day, same time. Don't force. Keep breastfeeding as main food till 1 year. You can try 2-3 hours gap between feeds, then offer semi solids like dal water, ragi porridge, mashed banana with BM. Slowly baby will increase to half bowl then full bowl in next 1-2 months. Be patient, you're doing great!
