However, if you notice a red color to your baby's stools, you might look closer. Red stools might just be the after-effects of your baby's affinity for eating beets or foods and beverages containing red dye.Breastfed Baby Poop. Breastfed baby poop is considered normal when it's a mustard yellow, green or brown color. It is typically seedy and pasty in texture and may be runny enough to resemble diarrhea.
