Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectofrant bronchodilators or antitussives medicifne which should be given onlyg after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl3 years agoA. hi no baby is too young please don't give any medicine by own and even Never use any medicine without consulting your pediatrician it can be harmful mam , please visit your pediatrician give plenty of breastfeeds to your child. I advise to apply warm paste of Turmeric powder and water on chest and back of your child which help to cure it faster.
