Lovleena MishraMom of 2 children4 years agoA. This is baby acne and is pretty common in this age. Use ice cubes to soothe the pain. Place 2-3 ice cubes in a piece of cloth and wrap it. Then place it on the affected area gently. You can apply breast milk on the affected areas. Breast milk is loaded with antibodies that will help in treating the rash. Apply a moisturiser containing ceramides as it can improve the barrier function of the skin. Use a humidifier in your baby's room so that the surrounding air is not dry and does not dehydrate your baby's skin. Do not let others touch your baby too much. Keep your baby's nails short so as to prevent the rash from aggravating. Avoid using wipes to clean your baby's face or body.
