A. Hello Major difference between oats & daliya is that daliya digests early, while oats take longer time to digest. so if you want your child to be fed again in 2-3 hours, then oats may keep child fuller for longer. But , both grains are healthy. Add vegetables, peanuts, cashews & ghee in the grain to make it more healthy. both can be given in rotation.

A. Children at the age of two years can eat oatmeal. A cup of oatmeal has 160 calories, six gm protein and four gm fibre. Many foods that kids love are not exactly rich in fibre, so loading them up with a bowl of oatmeal in the morning can help them to meet the daily requirement of fibre.
