Q.

2 months boy baby has got severe cold . He is coughing and also has mucus. Admitted to hospital as doctor suggested the same as to remove mucus. Pls tell me whether this is common among babies of that age?

A. The Pediatrician said to admit the baby. They have said baby should be admitted for atleast 3 days. Baby got Cold 5 days back so the Pediatrician gave syrup and nasal drops and said to come back in case it's not improved so today they said let's admit the baby. I hope it's not anything serious! I am scared.

A. PDS better to consult a Doctor since baby is very small at present use steam inhalation Cold and cough are viral infections in the baby generally they will take at least one week to subside
