Namaste Mom, Initial days of birth baby tends to lose some weight and then they first regain the birth weight and then tend to put on weight , monthly weight gain is expected in the range of 400 gm to 1 kg and by the age of 4 to 6 months they double their birth weight.

It should be 500 g in a month so according to that calculation your child should be 500 g more than the birth weight so kindly evaluate on that basis since you have not given any details this will help you evaluating the weight of your child from month to month
