1.6 year old baby boy...hot hands and body but no fever...active throughout....

A. this is Normal and you should not be worried as far this but still it would be better to get a proper rguidance by your doctor regarding any such kind oft query so that anything should not be missed . so a proper examination can be done just to rule out any other possibility ...
