Deciduous teeth is the official term for baby teeth, milk teeth, or primary teeth. Deciduous teeth start developing during the embryonic stage and then commonly begin to come in about 6 months after birth. There are typically 20 primary teeth — 10 upper and 10 lower.
These teeth are critical to your child's health and development. They assist in the development of permanent teeth by saving space for them in the jaw. When a baby tooth is lost too early, the permanent teeth can drift into the empty space and make it difficult for other adult teeth to find room when they come in.

Milk teeth are very important to know the nutritional status of your child if baby was given enough calcium vitamin d3.

Milk dentition is the cornerstone of permanent teeth so it should not be spoiled otherwise next dentition may be weak
If milk teeth are not erupted in time then solid food items are less likely to be digestive

maintenance of oral health of milk teeth are very important for baby development and for eruption of permanent teeth.
oral hygiene maintenance is important for good conditioning of milk teeth that effects the baby health and keep away the milky teeth from dental caries like nursing bottle caries.
early or delayed shedding of milk teeth affect the eruption and alignment of permanent teeth.
oral hygiene maintenance before and after eruption of milk teeth are very important for baby.
so avoid the sticky and junky food and maintain good oral hygiene by proper brushing for good oral health of milky teeth.

hi i am a fussy mom of hudhaifa 😄 and a very concerned mom especially comes to teething.so every new moms are so excited to see their babies first tooth. So usually milk teeth which is also known as deciduous or primary teeth starts erupting from 6months of babies age and it differs from baby to baby so it can be anyway from 6months to 18months of age ,so u could relax sit back and not to be worried if your baby is not teething yet and most of us think that these tooth are temporary as they just fall off so no need to care much but that is ideally wrong and here are few reasons to justify it 1.the bacterial flora in the milk teeth could also affect the upcoming permanent teeth 2.milk teeth guides the space and position of the erupting permanent teeth so missing of those teeth earlier than usual will collapse the permanent tooth arrangement 3.pshychologically your baby will remember the pain she/he suffered from the decayed tooth and also maintainsing the oral hygiene right from the milk tooth will teach our kids on how to protect the tooth and to proper the hygiene by brushing morning and before bed.hope this writing helped u....happy morning..happy parenting
