Is it time to break stereotypes?
If you are a 'Stay at home Mom', you are easily stereotyped as having all the free time in the world & enjoying life in a way that working moms can't. Do you agree that a 'stay at home' mom's life is easier than a working Mom's life or is it just a stereotype created by the society?

i think both home stay moms and working moms are on ghe same pace. Both are doing a great task. I am a working mom, i left my home by 6.45 a. m and reach by 7.30 p. m. so my biggest problem is i have only very little time to spend with my baby and in weekends, i have big laundry and also will have many ocaasions during most weekends. By god's grace i have loving in laws so i didnt need to spend more time in kitchen and also they will take care of my baby at most. My baby is nearly to her 1 year so i have a very confused mind nowadays.. I can leave my office at 5.30 p. m till the baby reaches 1 year but after that i should stay back for most of the days to till 7.30 p. m or 8.30 p. m so that i will reach by 9.30 p. m or 10.30 p. m. I dont know whether i can pass through this stage as i wont get time to see the little joy growing. If i quit my job, it will affect financially to my family.

Everything is subjective. There is nothing called best option. Working women may have satisfaction of having better financial condition ( a lot of times, people may work because there are no other options due to financial commitment) with guilt of not having enough time with the child. Stay home mom's may get time to be with the baby and enjoy every new change in the growing baby each day ( This also may or may not be a choice) and no time for self. Both ways we women gain something and lose something. I quit job when I was pregnant. I am taking a break to enjoy the time with my baby. I believe in being in the moment and enjoy the time I get with the baby. It's not right to compare and judge working and stay home mom's. They are just MOTHERS having different path set in their life.

staying at home is not actually meant more free time to spend.
others in family thinks that mother is just staying not working, so let do all works from morning to night and no reputation at all. others think only duty to do is household works to be done by mother instead of servent bcz the mother is not working. so there is very less time to be with baby that too during feeding time.

bcz i share this from my experience

no stay at home moms got to be really patient. I feel it's very tough being home all alone and handling kids..

A SAHM is as if not more hardworking than a working mom. many more responsibilities, alot more stress.. and maid management is the worst!

I miss my working days.
