Stay at Home Moms Homemakers in making
Is it time to break stereotypes?
If you are a 'Stay at home Mom', you are easily stereotyped as having all the free time in the world & enjoying life in a way that working moms can't. Do you agree that a 'stay at home' mom's life is easier than a working Mom's life or is it just a stereotype created by the society?

Yes it is time break.... Stay at home mon or working mom's life is not that easier because mom is always a mom. We can't compare their lives.Stay at home mom don't even have time for her. From dawn to dusk she either busy with the kid or with household activities but she has the most precious moments with her baby which she can never get back . When it comes to working mom though she is at office she thinks of her child whether her child is fine ,taken food in time . Is care taker is good ???These all bothers her and on otherside work stress. It's not that easy to carry out though many gadgets and apps have been developed to monitor your baby from office. Because your a mom.

I agree with your comment, but I would like to disagree to the point of view you have towards working moms. let me tell you that it is not easy for any mother leaving her child to the care of others. there are so many circumstances to support that. one of the main factor is finance, or no help or support from family or friends. how many of us do that? to support a working mother. I have seen the concern in their eyes when the day of their joining back to work comes near. it is unfortunate that we do not have much support for the working moms , hence they are forced to turn to outside help.
yes you are right that they do not have much time for their kids, or house is not clean etc etc....but it not the no.of hours spend or the cleanest home one has that decides on the bonding between a child and mother, it is how you choose to spent your time with your kids. infact there are many who is finding quality time so that they can make the best use of the moments they have.
i agree with your comments working mom's life is not easy as we think every mom should stand on their own feet

both the mom's life is not easier , we can't degrade any one. because stay at home mom will be having complete responsibility of home and baby and all other household activities, where as working mom will be having more pressure of work and baby as well.

Being mother is the most toughest job doesn't matter whether you are stay at home mom or working mom, you face difficulties both ways round. Mothers are always judged for their child behavior and tantrums which has got nothing to do with staying at home or at job. But at end of the day what matters is both the type of mother love their babies the most.

When people talk about stay-at-home moms, there's a whole lot of insinuation happening. For example, that they just sit around all day and eat Bon Bons . It's easy to assume when you've never been in the situation. However, there are some stay-at-home mom stereotypes everyone should ignore because, now that I've lived the stay-at-home mom life and can testify to its reality, most of those stereotypes are completely false but, really, who doesn't love bon bons.

working mom's usually hire maids, babysitters etc. to maintain their house.. which results in mom's not spending enough time with their kids which results in not caring more about their kids, being ignorant about the behaviour of nannies and babysitters, maids not cleaning homes properly and cooking food hurriedly... this inturn affects family's health... kids lack parents love
whereas us stay at home mom's do every chores by ourself whenever baby's sleeping or if someone at home is taking care of the baby we do our house chores by paying full attention to the chores and doing it neatly.. we give our 100percent commitment and care to our kids..

i think both moms are same as she is a working woman or home she has same responsibilities
if she lives in joint family she can get a little bit time for herself abd when she lives no time to take care of herself
heena khan Mom of 4 children 7 years ago
