yes it is, when you have both son and daughter but when you have only daughter child then those parents know that daughters are not liabilities they are assets to them.
In my opinion just one thing raise your both children equally like the education, duties, responsibilities etc.

Yes. You are right. There are still some people who consider sons as assets and daughters as liabilities. They spend money to educate their sons and save money for daughters marriage. Dowry is the villain behind it. This dowry system should be eradicated from the society. Parents should invest in the education of their children. Be it a boy or girl. Gender discrimination is a sin in my eyes.

obviously, some indian parents treated sons are assets and daughter are liabilities for them.but due to education and knowledge, more people understand very clearly.They believe that sons and daughters are same.They recognise that they are two eyes of a parents.

yes absolutely. since this concept has been drilled in their mindsets for a long period of time it will really be difficult to try to change it. however it's our duty now to teach our children the right thing.

In today's society, if we consider our generation it's a 60-40 ration I would say where 60% consider both son and daughter equally but the rest 40% still looking for a guy to take the bloodline ("vansh") ahead. How much ever we say we have past ahead that thought but honestly we didn't. It's a kind of thought process that still people are happily and proudly carrying from previous generations. It's high time we change our mindset and treat both daughters and sons equally. 🙏
