#StressFreeChildhood

Sonali Pathak Mom of 2 children 6 years ago
Indian education system is more dependent on grades and marks rather than understanding of the subject .. The kids are discouraged to ask questions during the course of study and eventually they learn to just mug up the things and not to understand...They are taught that not to speak up is a part of decipline which totally wrong.. I would suggest that kids should be encouraged to ask questions during teaching and should be actually be interactively active during whole learning process.. This thing can encourage understanding rather mugging up..

ye lines tab tak koi follow nhi kar payega ya karwa payega jab tak education bussiness rahega.agar hum apne bachhe se kehte hain ki vo stress free padhai kare to uske class frds aas pass ke log ye ehsaas karayenge ki vo education me bahut peeche hain.We need gurukul studys again to follow the real education. I am a teacher and I strictly follow the line "bachha kabil bano".My daughter is doing average and I am happy with her.Meri beti mera abhiman hain.

I too agree with the above mentioned phrase "baccha kaabil bano..." and almost all the parents are writing yes as their answer.
But i can bet that 99% parents have focus on the studies of their kids. Then how can they say yes as an answer to this phrase.. I agree that education is the basic necessity to survive in the society but that doesnt mean grade are everything. Not all kids are good at studies, but they can be good in some other field like sports, dance, arts, singing and huge number of fields are there. These also make the kids kaabil but not only education. I have a 6 month old daughter, and like every parents I too have dreams for her but i have already decided to not to ever force her for studies only. She will b free to complete her basic studies without any stress of getting good marks and side by side she will also be free to do any extra activity that she want to do and i hope she will become more "kaabil" by that other than getting degrees.

yes I agree that ability brings all the success itself. we should teach our child basics of education and concept shud be clear of the lesson. this will itself improve understanding and interest of child about curriculum. no need to insist for bringing targeted marks, just do ur job. success will sure com to the way one day.
