I have 2 kids one likes animals and other one likes bikes and caRs. We as parent encourage them in pursuing their areas of interest. We never push them do study ...
Elder one interest in animals and he do mimikaries of all the animals. we always try to touch him with the animals bcoz he as a affavtion of them. we visit to zoo, villages, to show him the animals .. every weekend we went out with them and did horse riding.. whenever he hold colour or sketch pen , he draw animals picture . he has approximately 200 animals toy, daily he create Jungle and made stories,.even he listen and watch jungle and animals related stories and songs... we really blessed such a kid we have who have too much love and affation he has towards animals.

i am a mother of 5 months old baby boy... i have spent so many years in preparation of IAS exam... but meanwhile i understood one thing that this era is an era of competition... i also became a part of it but i enjoyed my life with other activities too.. though i could not clear ias exam but it gave me knowledge which makes me stand on any front and at any place of job... i m working as a teacher, i have worked as an accountant as an hr and also got selected for marketing job..... ultimately what i want to say knowledge is power marks are just the number... isliye mai apne bachche ko bachpan se hi kaabil banne ki salah dugi kamyabi ka sabka apna alag definition hai....

this topic is my favourite..infact I am arts teacher..and my subjects are very theoretical but then to I totally believe in interactive learning..and same implies with my daughter..she is a question bank..I always give her very logical replies..she learns not like a scapegoats but uses her mind and try to generalize things which is best..I always tell her not to follow her class teacher blindly..use your mind as well..little changes can make big differences..and I know she will be very KABIL as she is not a rote learner..try not to make our children skillful and not rote learners..
mistake in last line (try to make them skillful)

our daughter is of 3 years, a student of Nursery. She has a fascination 4 music. So we ve a plan to put her in both vocal music & dance class but she will continue that 1 which she'll prefer. We want to be her guide, not her life controller. In future she may switch into painting or instrumental music or any other performing art, it's up to her only. We wish her to have a basic academic education, we will never insist on her that since ur both parents r professionals so u ve to be the same. We do not expect her to stand 1st in her class or board exams but wish her to qualify the test of humanity. We would prefer her to be independent mentally, physically and financially in her own way.Its her life, after all.

To be independent...you have to be dependent in childhood for knowledge..for skills...You are though born with your talent but it cannot come out without a guru..a teacher...acquiring knowledge be it bookish or practical can only make you stand where everyone wants....A doctor,a scientist or an engineer...
