What pH Value One Should Look For While Choosing a Baby Care Product?

When a baby is born the skin pH is 7 unlike adult's healthy skin which has a pH of 5.5. Moreover, the baby’s skin is 20% thinner and very delicate hence needs specialized care. Using alkaline baby skin and hair care products with a pH >7 even if they are natural can damage the protective barrier, leading to skin dryness and roughness and might lead to increase in skin infections.Tell us what do you think about using pH 5.5 products for your baby's healthy skin.Gratification - 3 Lucky Winners to get a SebaMed Gift Hamper worth Rs. 800

Using pH 5.5 products on your baby's skin is the real deal, and here's why: First off, it helps maintain the skin's natural barrier. Using skincare products with a pH level of 5.5 can help maintain the skin's natural acidity, which is key to avoid dryness, rashes, and other pesky skin issues

Sebamed is my trusted brand and I found it very safe and non allergic, that's a big plus. my baby had developed eczema and I switched to sebamed baby wash and moisturizer which really helped in healing and reduced the itch and was quite soothing.
