What pH Value One Should Look For While Choosing a Baby Care Product?
When a baby is born the skin pH is 7 unlike adult's healthy skin which has a pH of 5.5. Moreover, the baby’s skin is 20% thinner and very delicate hence needs specialized care. Using alkaline baby skin and hair care products with a pH >7 even if they are natural can damage the protective barrier, leading to skin dryness and roughness and might lead to increase in skin infections.Tell us what do you think about using pH 5.5 products for your baby's healthy skin.Gratification - 3 Lucky Winners to get a SebaMed Gift Hamper worth Rs. 800

yes, ph 5.5 is the one that should be used to protect the babies skin against all the skin barriers, dryness and infections. it will maintain the skins natural acidity and keep the skin safe against all the evils

I don't know why should we use 5.5 ph products. I would like to be natural. Just tell me, guys, how many of you or your parents have used such type of products for themselves? I bet none, but I'm sure most of us had no skin problems in their childhood. So just use natural oils like coconut, olive, or mustard. These are much better than some chemical infused artificial products.
