What pH Value One Should Look For While Choosing a Baby Care Product?
When a baby is born the skin pH is 7 unlike adult's healthy skin which has a pH of 5.5. Moreover, the baby’s skin is 20% thinner and very delicate hence needs specialized care. Using alkaline baby skin and hair care products with a pH >7 even if they are natural can damage the protective barrier, leading to skin dryness and roughness and might lead to increase in skin infections.Tell us what do you think about using pH 5.5 products for your baby's healthy skin.Gratification - 3 Lucky Winners to get a SebaMed Gift Hamper worth Rs. 800

for baby's skin, the pH value should be less than 5.5 since it will not make any damages or allergies to them... so i could always recommend to use the baby soaps after verifying pH value of the product.. Sebamed baby soap s a gud option for their little skin...

However, as a parent, you should know certain essential parameters while choosing the correct baby soap for your little one:
pH Value (near 7)
Without paraben.
Hypoallergenic.
Tear Free.
Gentle Lather.
Gentle Fragrance.
Fixings.
Sebamed is good for babies as I am using this since my baby was born and she is 1.5 years and I am still using the same product till date. I haven't experienced anything bad till date. I used mamaearth also but I didn't like the product at all.

Using products having a ph of 5.5 helps to retain hydration required for baby skin. It also prevents dryness.
