What pH Value One Should Look For While Choosing a Baby Care Product?

When a baby is born the skin pH is 7 unlike adult's healthy skin which has a pH of 5.5. Moreover, the baby’s skin is 20% thinner and very delicate hence needs specialized care. Using alkaline baby skin and hair care products with a pH >7 even if they are natural can damage the protective barrier, leading to skin dryness and roughness and might lead to increase in skin infections.Tell us what do you think about using pH 5.5 products for your baby's healthy skin.Gratification - 3 Lucky Winners to get a SebaMed Gift Hamper worth Rs. 800

Sebamed baby care products have a pH of 5.5, which is the same as the pH of healthy skin. This pH level is ideal for a baby's skin because it:

Maintains the skin's natural barrier: Helps protect the skin from environmental aggressors

Supports beneficial bacteria: While restricting the growth of harmful bacteria

Minimizes moisture loss: Research shows that pH 5.5 minimizes the loss of moisture and lipids

Is gentle on the skin: Suitable for daily cleansing and care routines

Sebamed products are dermatologist-tested, hypoallergenic, and free of irritants, allergens, parabens, soaps, and alkali. Some of their products include:
Baby Cleansing Bar
Baby Wash Extra Soft
Baby Bubble Bath
Baby Lotion
Baby Cream Extra Soft
Baby Protective Facial Cream
Baby Rash Cream
