What pH Value One Should Look For While Choosing a Baby Care Product?
When a baby is born the skin pH is 7 unlike adult's healthy skin which has a pH of 5.5. Moreover, the baby’s skin is 20% thinner and very delicate hence needs specialized care. Using alkaline baby skin and hair care products with a pH >7 even if they are natural can damage the protective barrier, leading to skin dryness and roughness and might lead to increase in skin infections.Tell us what do you think about using pH 5.5 products for your baby's healthy skin.Gratification - 3 Lucky Winners to get a SebaMed Gift Hamper worth Rs. 800

Maintaining the perfect ph for our tiny toddler's gentle skin is vital. Right ph will keep their skin healthy, moisturized and protected. Keepimg mama and baby happy.

an enzyme that lives on baby's skin is PH sensitive. If the pH is higher than 5.5, then it will thin the skin and the thinner skin would be more prone to rashes, irritations...etc
MD Imran Father of 2 children 2 years ago
Best ph would be between 5.5 to 5.8
