When a baby is born the skin pH is 7 unlike adult's healthy skin which has a pH of 5.5. Moreover, the baby’s skin is 20% thinner and very delicate hence needs specialized care. first and foremost product i used for my baby (15 days old baby )when she had rash over face is sebamed protective facial cream , surprised to see result in 2 days that made my baby skin so protective and soft, still using sebamed products and now she is 2 yrs old , i highly suggest because of the contents that doesn't damage the baby skin

All Sebamed products maintain a pH value of 5.5. Babies are born with a skin pH value of 7.
